Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is reportedly willing to drop his court case against Barcelona if the club puts it in writing that they will re-sign him.

The 27-year-old is currently taking legal action against the Catalan giants over a renewal bonus of £43m agreed between the club and the player back in 2016, a year before he left Spain for the French capital.

According to the Spanish outlet SER, Neymar and senior Barcelona executives were in constant contact on Friday as they sought a resolution to their issues without involving the courts.

The report states that the Brazilian's proposal was that he would drop the claim if Barcelona put it in writing that they would re-sign him in the near future.

It is unclear whether that led to a breakthrough in the talks, with Neymar seen out partying with compatriots Arthur and Leo Baptistao before returning to Paris.
