Napoli consider move for Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu?

Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Napoli.

During the summer, Deulofeu penned a two-year contract in order to return to Camp Nou, but the Spaniard has only made a total of seven starts in La Liga and the Champions League.

With Ousmane Dembele due to return at some stage over the Christmas and New Year period the 23-year-old's opportunities could be further limited, and it appears that Napoli may look to take advantage.

According to Rai Sport, boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to strengthen his squad in January, with Napoli challenging for the Serie A title and having to contend with extra fixtures in the Europa League.

Deulofeu is no stranger to Italy's top flight, scoring four goals in 17 appearances for AC Milan during the second half of the last campaign.
