AC Milan agree loan deal for Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo?

AC Milan have reportedly moved closer to securing the signing of Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

Despite spending 11 months at Camp Nou, Todibo has only made five appearances for the Catalan giants, with just three starts coming in La Liga.

Both parties have acknowledged that the 20-year-old requires more opportunities at this stage of his career, leading to Milan showing an interest in the youngster.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Italian outfit and Barca have now reached an agreement over a loan deal until the end of the campaign.

The report adds that Milan have the option to sign the centre-back for £17m during the summer transfer window.

Given the need to improve their standing with FFP, Milan may opt to cash in on one of their high-profile players should Todibo follow Zlatan Ibrahimovic in moving to San Siro.
