Bayern Munich have joined the race for Barcelona's out-of-contract winger Ousmane Dembele, according to a report.
The Frenchman sees his contract expire at the end of the season, and despite reports of progress in a potential renewal at the Camp Nou, no such agreement has yet been found between club and player.
As a result, the 24-year-old will leave the Catalan side on a free transfer this summer as things stand, with a host of clubs said to be interested in acquiring his signature.
Bayern are rumoured to be the latest side to have stepped up their interest in Dembele, according to Sky Sports News, who are reporting that first contact has already been made between the club and the player's representatives.
The report also outlines how Barca remain keen to keep Dembele in La Liga, but that their current financial problems mean that they are struggling to offer the winger a competitive deal as things stand.
The news outlet also reaffirms Bayern's reported interest in Liverpool's Sadio Mane, with rumours surfacing in recent days, as well as Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix, with Julian Nagelsmann's side on the search for a new forward this summer.
Dembele made the move to Barcelona from Bayern's fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a fee of around €145m (£123m), and has gone on to make 149 appearances in Spain so far, scoring 32 goals.
