Josep Maria Bartomeu: 'We are not after Arda Turan'

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has said that the Catalan outfit are not interested in signing Atletico Madrid attacker Arda Turan this summer.

It had been claimed that Barca boss Luis Enrique wanted to sign the Turkish international after the World Cup this summer.

Bartomeu has branded Turan "a great player", but insisted that he is not one of their targets.

"Turan is great player, but not a player we're looking at," Onda Cero quotes Bartomeu as saying.

Turan has a contract with Atletico until 2017.
