Barcelona show interest in Lille forward Rafael Leao?

Barcelona reportedly show an interest in signing Lille forward Rafael Leao during the summer transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly identified Lille forward Rafael Leao as a potential signing.

The Catalan giants are known to be in the market for a new striker, with the club allegedly beginning to consider long-term replacements for Luis Suarez.

Benfica's Luka Jovic and Celta Vigo's Maxi Gomez have both been linked with a switch to Camp Nou, but it appears that interest is also being shown in another young striker.

According to Record, Barcelona are 'extensively scouting' Lille frontman Leao, who has started to make an impact in the first team at the French outfit.

The 19-year-old has contributed seven goals and one assist from 15 outings in Ligue 1 during the current campaign, a record which has helped Lille challenge for second place in the table.

Leao still has over four years remaining on his contract.
