Barcelona have reportedly focused their attention on signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez after accepting that there is little chance of landing Neymar.

Barcelona have reportedly acknowledged that they have no chance of re-signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The La Liga giants had been tipped to move for the Brazil international, who won eight trophies in four seasons at Camp Nou prior to joining PSG in 2017.

However, Catalan daily newspaper L'Esportiu quotes a senior source as describing the transfer as "a fantasy" and "practically impossible".

Barca are said to be more hopeful about their chances of landing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, though, given the £98m release clause in his contract.

Martinez has scored a combined 16 goals in Serie A and the Champions League this term - the same number as Neymar in Ligue 1 and UEFA's flagship competition.
