Barcelona considering Coutinho, Kepa swap?

Barcelona are reportedly looking to offload out-of-favour winger Philippe Coutinho to Chelsea in exchange for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa, who became the world's most expensive goalkeeper when he joined the Blues from Athletic Bilbao, has struggled for consistency this season.

The Spaniard had only just regained his place in the starting lineup prior to the coronavirus suspension, and his future at Stamford Bridge remains up in the air with Chelsea allegedly considering alternatives to the 25-year-old.

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are planning for the potential departure of Marc-Andre ter Stegen and are said to be looking at Kepa as an ideal replacement.

The report also claims that the Catalan giants could use Chelsea's supposed interest in Coutinho to their advantage, with the Brazilian having been linked with a move back to the Premier League in recent weeks.

Coutinho has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich, registering eight goals and six assists in Germany's top flight throughout the 2019-20 campaign.
