Alexis Sanchez plays down Barcelona exit talk

Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez plays down talk of leaving the club in the transfer window.

Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez has played down talk of him leaving the club.

The Chile international has been linked with a move to several clubs in the last few transfer windows, including a big-money move to Manchester United.

However, the former Udinese man has said that he is more than happy with life in Barcelona, and said that he will work hard to ensure he stays in the team when selected.

"I always felt [at home] in Barcelona, with the desire to play 100% every game I fight," he told Le 10 Sport.

"Fortunately, I was able to score goals from the beginning of the season. I do not intend to stop there, we must continue to move forward.

"It is very important for a striker to score, especially when you trust your coach and your teammates."

The 24-year-old signed for the Liga giants in 2011.
