Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up against Girona in Sunday's La Liga contest at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Barcelona duo Pau Cubarsi and Raphinha are expected to be back in the XI for Sunday's La Liga clash with Girona.

Cubarsi was only an unused substitute against Osasuna on Thursday evening due to the ankle issue that he picked up while representing Spain in the first leg of their UEFA Nations League quarter-final with the Netherlands.

Raphinha, meanwhile, was not in the squad for the team's 3-0 victory, having been in action for Brazil on Tuesday night.

The pair are both likely to be in the XI this weekend, though, while there could also be a spot at the back for Ronald Araujo, who was an unused substitute against Osasuna following his return from Uruguay duty.

Robert Lewandowski was not risked from the start on Thursday due to a minor issue, but the experienced striker came off the bench to score, and he is now set to be back in the XI for the Catalan contest.

Dani Olmo picked up an adductor injury shortly after scoring against Osasuna, and the Spain international will be on the sidelines for the next three weeks.

Marc Casado, Andreas Christensen, Marc Bernal and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are also still missing for Barcelona, with five first-team players therefore currently unavailable for selection at a vital stage of the campaign.

Olmo's absence means that Gavi is likely to keep hold of his spot in the team, but Ferran Torres could drop out despite again finding the back of the net against Osasuna.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Szczesny; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Balde; De Jong, Pedri; Yamal, Gavi, Raphinha; Lewandowski
