How could Barcelona line up against Osasuna

Barcelona trio Inigo Martinez, Joao Cancelo and Pedri have travelled to Saudi Arabia despite concerns over their fitness ahead of Thursday's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Osasuna.

Martinez is unlikely to feature in the semi-final clash after he was forced off within 11 minutes of his return from injury in Sunday's Copa del Rey win over fourth-tier Barbastro.

Full-back Cancelo and midfielder Pedri are also major doubts due to knee and muscle injuries respectively, leaving them in a race against time to be ready for Thursday's contest or a potential final at the weekend.

With Marc-Andre ter Stegen still absent alongside Marcos Alonso and Gavi, 24-year-old shot-stopper Inaki Pena will keep his place in between the posts.

Jules Kounde may be forced to operate at right-back if Cancelo fails to prove his fitness, and the Frenchman could be joined in a back four by Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen and Alejandro Balde.

Despite struggling with illness at the beginning of the week, Ilkay Gundogan should be fit to feature in the middle of the park, where he is likely to be joined by Sergi Roberto and Frenkie de Jong.

Raphinha, a scorer in the 3-2 win against Barbastro, is set to be given the nod over Lamine Yamal, who is available after serving a one-match suspension at the weekend.

While Raphinha is poised to line up on the right wing, Xavi will have to decide whether Ferran Torres or Joao Felix will operate on the opposite flank.

After scoring in both of his previous two Super Cup appearances, Robert Lewandowski will be looking for more success in the competition when he spearheads Barcelona's attack against Osasuna.
