David Villa back in hospital

Barcelona striker David Villa has returned to hospital for further treatment on his kidney stones.

The Spanish international was sent home to recover on Tuesday after he had been admitted on Monday.

However, the 31-year-old was back in on Thursday night in an attempt to resolve the problem.

Villa, who has scored six goals in 21 appearances for Barca this season, is expected to miss Sunday's trip to Granada in La Liga.
