Ronaldo tips Lionel Messi for Ballon d'Or

Brazil legend Ronaldo believes that Lionel Messi will win this year's Ballon d'Or.

The Barcelona star is joint-favourite for the accolade alongside Ronaldo's namesake, Cristiano of Real Madrid, and the 36-year-old reckons that Messi will triumph when the winner is announced in January.

"Messi and Cristiano are amazing, the two best players in the world, but Messi does more to entertain fans," said Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has won the title twice himself in 1997 and 2002 and is the all-time leading scorer in World Cup history.
