Real Madrid wish Tito Vilanova well

Spanish champions Real Madrid have passed their best wishes on to Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova.

While there has been no official confirmation from Barca, 44-year-old Vilanova is believed to have suffered a relapse after he had a tumour removed last year.

"Real Madrid want to express their support, love and affection to Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova and hope that he makes quickest recovery," read a statement on the club's official website.

"Real Madrid extend this support to your club and your family."

Barca are expected to release their own statement later today.
