Gerard Pique out for two weeks

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique will be sidelined for two weeks with a hamstring strain.

The Spaniard picked up the injury after only eight minutes of Barca's 3-0 win against Racing Santander at the Nou Camp on Saturday night.

The 24-year-old will miss his side's Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday and he is also likely to sit out the league match against Sevilla three days later.

Barcelona's victory against Racing put them back at the top of La Liga after Real Madrid had earlier beaten Real Betis 4-1.
