Neymar: 'I have learned a lot'

Barcelona forward Neymar claims that he has 'learned a lot' during his first season in Europe.

Barcelona forward Neymar has said that he has 'learned a lot' during his first season in Europe.

The Brazilian international, who joined Barcelona from Santos in the summer, has scored nine times in his first La Liga campaign.

Despite a relatively successful campaign, Neymar has faced criticism from some areas. However, the 22-year-old has insisted that he will continue to improve.

"This season has been a season of learning," he told Sport.

"I came from another country with another style of football, and came into a completely new situation. I had to adapt personally. I have learned a lot, not only personally, but also professionally.

"In life not everything is easy, some mornings are good and others are not. We recently lost the Copa del Rey and that was not a good feeling, but you have to learn."

Neymar is currently on the sidelines with a foot injury.
