Pep Guardiola dismisses Chelsea rumours

Outgoing Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has dismissed speculation linking him with Chelsea.

The 41-year-old announced on Friday that he would be ending his four-year tenure with the Spanish champions at the end of the season to take a break from football.

When asked if he had met Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic to discuss a possible role, Guardiola told reporters: "No. That would have been disrespectful towards the club."

The former midfielder has won 13 trophies with the Catalan side since he took over in 2008.
