Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has said that his side produced the "complete performance" during their trip to Sporting Gijon this evening.

A brace from Lionel Messi, which look his La Liga goal tally over the 300 mark, and another Luis Suarez goal sealed a 3-1 win for the Catalans at El Molinon.

Asked for his take on the display after the final whistle, Enrique told reporters: "We have put in a complete performance given how tough it was playing against a side who sat back."

The victory has moved Barca six points clear at the top of the La Liga standings.
