Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets will have a scan on his injured knee in the next couple of days after he was stretchered off against Real Sociedad.
The Spanish international appeared to be in considerable pain when he collided with an opposition player after coming on as a substitute during Barca's 2-1 win.
"When Cesc [Fabregas] had his hands on his head I thought he had broke something, but it appears to be only a deep cut, so we will have to see his condition by Wednesday," said manager Pep Guardiola.
The Catalan side host Valencia in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final on Wednesday.
