Dani Alves suffers thigh injury

Barcelona have revealed that Dani Alves suffered a thigh injury during the weekend's 4-1 win over Real Zaragoza.

The complaint forced the Brazilian international to leave the field of play in the 68th minute.

As a result, the club have now confirmed that the full-back is unlikely to take his place in the starting lineup for tomorrow's La Liga clash with Getafe.

Should Alves fail to recover in time, youngster Martin Montoya is expected to deputise in his place.
