Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba has insisted that he wants to continue to improve at the La Liga leaders.

The 23-year-old signed for Barcelona from Valencia during the summer but after he admitted to starting a "little slowly" at the Nou Camp, he believes that he is beginning to hit top form.

Alba told the club's official website: "I started a little slowly, but now I feel really good and confident.

I'm fitting into the team and I want to get better with every day".

Alba has scored three goals in 17 appearances for Barcelona this season.
