Sunday's La Liga predictions including Huesca vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's La Liga fixtures, including Huesca vs. Barcelona.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Elche (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Athletic Bilbao will be looking to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they continue their 2020-21 campaign at home to Elche on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 home defeat to Real Sociedad on Thursday, while Elche picked up an impressive point against the champions Real Madrid on Wednesday.

We say: Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Elche

Athletic will view this match as the ideal chance to return to winning ways, but Elche have proved difficult to beat in the league this season, losing just four of their 14 matches; we are finding it tough to pick a winner in this contest and have therefore settled on a 1-1 draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Alaves vs. Atletico (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Atletico Madrid will be looking to make it four straight La Liga victories when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to Alaves on Sunday afternoon.

Diego Simeone's side are currently top of the table with two games in hand, while Alaves have made a solid start to the campaign, picking up 18 points from 16 matches to occupy 13th position.

We say: Alaves 0-2 Atletico Madrid

Alaves are certainly capable of making it a difficult 90 minutes for Simeone's side, but we are finding it very difficult to back against the leaders, who are very much on the title charge. Atletico ran out 2-0 winners in their last away match against Sociedad, and we are predicting the same scoreline in this contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Eibar vs. Granada (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Granada will be looking to continue their recent impressive run of form when they travel to Eibar in Spain's top flight on Sunday evening.

The visitors have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and currently occupy seventh position in the table, while Eibar are down in 16th, just one point clear of the relegation zone.

We say: Eibar 1-1 Granada

Eibar will enter the match off the back of an excellent point against Barca, and it is difficult to ignore the amount of players that Granada will be missing on Sunday. It would not be a surprise to see the visitors pick up all three points, but we just fancy a low-scoring draw in this encounter.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Real Sociedad vs. Osasuna (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Real Sociedad will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they welcome a struggling Osasuna side to San Sebastian on Sunday evening.

The Basque club picked up a huge three points away to Athletic Bilbao on Thursday, but Osasuna are currently on a nine-game winless run in Spain's top flight, which has seen them slide into 19th position.

We say: Real Sociedad 1-0 Osasuna

Sociedad picked up a much-needed three points on Thursday and should be confident heading into this weekend's contest. Osasuna, though, are struggling for form and remain inside the relegation zone; the hosts will again be without a number of important players but should have enough to triumph.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Huesca vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be looking to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to struggling Huesca on Sunday night.

The Catalan giants were held to a 1-1 draw by Eibar on Tuesday and are currently sixth in the table, while Huesca are bottom of the pile, having only collected 12 points from their opening 16 matches.

We say: Huesca 0-2 Barcelona

Huesca, as mentioned, have only lost six of their 16 league matches this season despite sitting bottom of the table, meaning that it will not be an easy game for Barca. The Catalan side should be able to welcome back Messi, though, and we fancy the Argentine to inspire the visitors to a 2-0 success.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
