Douglas Pereira facing four weeks out of action

Barcelona right-back Douglas Pereira is expected to miss the next four weeks of the season after picking up a hamstring injury in training.

The Brazilian, who joined Barca from Sao Paulo in August, has made just four first-team appearances for the Catalan outfit this season.

He was expected to feature in both legs of the Copa del Rey quarter-final against Atletico Madrid, but a statement on Barca's official website has confirmed that the 24-year-old is facing one month on the sidelines.

Douglas signed a five-year deal with the Spanish club at the start of the season, but has already been linked with a return to Brazil after struggling to impress during the first half of the campaign.
