Marc Bartra "very optimistic" Barcelona will advance

Barcelona defender Marc Bartra is confident that his side will overcome Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Barcelona defender Marc Bartra is "very optimistic" that his side will overcome Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

The Catalan outfit enter as the slight underdogs following a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou last week, but the Spanish centre-back is confident that his team will advance into the final four.

"I'm very optimistic," he told Barcelona's official website.

"We'll go all out at the Calderon with the hope of going through to the next round."

Bartra has enjoyed a breakthrough season at the Camp Nou and is expected to start alongside Javier Mascherano against Atletico.
