Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said that he plans to pick striker Diego Costa, despite the Atletico Madrid forward suggesting he may choose to represent Spain having qualified for Spanish nationality in the summer.
Costa has been in good form for his club and a statement from the Brazilian Football Confederation's website has suggested that Scolari still plans to pick the player for Brazil's friendlies in November.
The statement read: "The CBF has sent a document to FIFA stating that the coach Luiz Felipe Scolari will again select the Atletico Madrid player Diego Costa for the Brazil national team friendlies in November - against Honduras on November 16 in Miami and Chile on November 19 in Toronto."
Brazil are hotly tipped as one of the favourites to win the next World Cup, with the country hosting the tournament next year.
