Diego Simeone shrugs off player exit rumours

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has dismissed speculation linking some of his players with the exit door.

Martin Demichelis and Adrian have both been linked with moves to the Premier League, but Simeone says that he is only focused on Atletico's next match.

"I don't care about the rumours, my only concern is Rayo [Vallecano]," said the 43-year-old.

"We are constantly holding conversations with the club and we are very aware of what might happen. But my only worry is tomorrow's game and making sure my team is able to perform against a very brave side packed with players who play good football.

"That's what we need to be alert to, nothing else."

Atletico face Rayo at 6pm this evening.
