Report: Jose Sosa unlikely to join Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid are reportedly unprepared to pay £8m to sign Argentine attacker Jose Sosa on a permanent deal this summer.

Sosa spent the second half of last season on loan at Atletico from Ukrainian club Metalist Kharkiv and impressed in his 24 appearances for the Primera Division outfit.

However, according to Inside Spanish Football, Atletico have been quoted £8m to make the move permanent – a figure that Diego Simeone is not prepared to pay this summer.

As it stands, Sosa will return to Metalist early next month.
