Report: Toby Alderweireld heading to the Premier League

Toby Alderweireld is reportedly a transfer target for a number of Premier League clubs.

The Belgian centre-back moved to Atletico Madrid from Ajax last summer, but struggled to displace Miranda and Diego Godin in the club's first-choice XI.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Alderweireld is keen to secure regular football, which has alerted the attention of a number of English clubs.

The report stopped short of naming the interested parties, but both Manchester United and Chelsea are in the market for a new centre-back this summer.
