Arda Turan looks back at "unforgettable" year

Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan has admitted that 2014 "was a year full of remarkable achievements".

Turan was part of the Atletico side that won their first La Liga title since 1996 in May, in addition to reaching the Champions League final.

The Turkish international has also thanked his supporters ahead of the start of a new year.

"It was a year full of remarkable achievements and unforgettable memories for me. Overwhelmed by all your support. Wish you a happy new year," Turan posted on his official Twitter account.

Turan, 27, has been with Atletico since 2011.
