Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago has claimed that he is 'at his peak' at the sprightly age of 33.
Tiago has been in fine form for his club this season, while he is still very much part of the Portugal set-up despite his advancing years.
The midfielder is expected to be involved in his country's Euro 2016 qualifier against Serbia on Sunday and he has claimed that he is "feeling great".
"I feel fine and at my peak," Tiago told reporters. "I know it's strange to see a 33-year-old in the national team. The 'old' label can arise, but I've been working very well. I'm feeling great and experiencing one of the best years of my career."
Tiago was strongly linked with a return to Chelsea last summer, but remained in the Spanish capital.
