Mario Suarez welcomes Fernando Torres to Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez has taken to Twitter to welcome Fernando Torres back to the Vicente Calderon.

Torres sealed a return to the Spanish outfit earlier this week, with the 30-year-old signing an 18-month loan deal from AC Milan.

It will be the striker's second spell at Atletico having previously represented the club between 1995 and 2007.

However, Suarez and Torres might not be teammates for long, with the former linked with a move away from the Spanish capital in recent days.

Torres could make his second Atletico debut in the Copa del Rey last-16 first leg against Real Madrid on January 7.
