Diego Costa to miss Austria Vienna clash?

Diego Costa could miss Atletico Madrid's Champions League clash with Austria Vienna on Tuesday with an ankle injury.

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa could miss his side's Champions League clash with Austria Vienna on Tuesday with an ankle injury.

The powerful forward picked up a knock in Atletico's 1-0 defeat to Espanyol in La Liga at the weekend, with his fitness called into doubt ahead of the Spanish outfit's European clash.

Should the 25-year-old fail to recover, then Adrian Lopez is expected to come into the attack alongside Spanish international David Villa.

Experienced centre-back Diego Godin, meanwhile, is struggling with a muscular injury, meaning that Toby Alderweireld could make his Champions League debut for the Copa del Rey holders.
