Atletico Madrid overpower Getafe in Copa del Rey

Getafe have it all to do in the second leg of their fifth-round Copa del Rey clash with Atletico Madrid after going down 3-0 in the first.

The visitors fell behind to a Diego Costa penalty in an otherwise uneventful first half, but there was worse to come for Luis García Plaza's men after the break.

Filipe Kasmirski found the net in the 80th minute and Diego was on target again seven minutes later for a final scoreline of 3-0 to the hosts.

The two sides will meet at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez for the second leg on January 10.
