Atletico Madrid through to Copa del Rey last 16

Atletico Madrid have progressed to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey at the expense of Sant Andreu.

Diego Simeone's side were 2-1 victors at the Vicente Calderon in the second leg of their round-of-32 tie on Wednesday evening, but went through 6-1 on aggregate.

Alberto Carroza silenced the home crowd after just 15 minutes when he gave Sant Andreu the lead.

However, the La Liga outfit came back strongly in the second half and equalised through Hector Hernandez on 78 minutes.

Then in the second minute of injury time Toby Alderweireld found the target to wrap up a 2-1 win for Atletico.
