Athletic Bilbao have picked up their first points of the 2012-13 La Liga season, defeating Real Valladolid 2-0 at home.
Marcelo Bielsa's side had suffered successive losses to Real Betis and Atletico Madrid in their opening two league games, conceding nine goals in the process.
However, the Basque giants recovered on Sunday with a clean sheet and two second-half goals at San Mames.
After a goalless first half, Aritz Aduriz put Bilbao head on 69 minutes when he found the Valladolid goal with a right-footed shot from the centre of the penalty box.
Then six minutes later Markel Susaeta wrapped up the points for the hosts when he turned in Ruiz de Galarreta's pass.
