Athletic Bilbao 1-0 Sevilla

Fernando Llorente scored the only goal of the game as Athletic Bilbao took maximum points from their home encounter with Sevilla this evening.

The Spanish international went close to breaking the deadlock in the 28th minute, but his chipped effort struck the crossbar.

However, two minutes after the restart Llorente did find the net when he headed in a cross from Markel Susaeta.

Mikel San Jose had the best chance to extend Athletic's lead late in the match, but his low effort cannoned to safety of the crossbar.
