Ernesto Valverde hails "complete season"

Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde has praised his players for their "complete season".

Valverde led the Basque outfit into fourth spot in La Liga this season, with Champions League football on the cards for the San Mames side in the 2014-15 campaign.

"Our intention for the last two weeks, once we secured the fourth position, was to exceed seventy points and that didn't happen, but for us it's been an extraordinary season," Inside Spanish Football quotes the Bilbao boss as saying.

"We're happy with what we've achieved because it's been a complete season."

Bilbao won 20 of their 38 league games this season.
