Aritz Aduriz excited by Super Cup

Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz has said that he cannot wait to face Barcelona in the upcoming Spanish Super Cup.

Bilbao will welcome Barca for the first leg on Friday, before the two teams clash at Camp Nou in the return match three days later.

Aduriz has called on his team to take advantage of Barca's absentees, but the Basque outfit also have a number of injury concerns of their own.

"The start of the season is very beautiful. I hope we play the Supercopa every year. It's not every day you compete for a trophy," AS quotes Aduriz as saying.

"We have to play with our weapons. [Barca being without] Jordi Alba and Neymar is important, but we also have important absences. It hurts not having the entire team available."

Aduriz scored 26 times for Bilbao last season.
