Aston Villa are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Bertrand Traore during the January transfer window.

Bertrand Traore will reportedly be allowed to leave Aston Villa during the January transfer window.

After signing from Lyon for £17m in September 2020, Traore impressed during his first campaign at Villa Park, contributing seven goals and seven assists from his 36 appearances in the Premier League.

However, the 26-year-old has been limited to just 53 minutes of top-flight football during 2020-21, his four outings each coming from the substitutes' bench.

According to Football Insider, Steven Gerrard is happy to listen to offers for the Burkina Faso international at the turn of the year.

The report suggests that the newly-appointed boss is unhappy with the balance of his squad, resulting in Traore being available on a permanent or loan deal.

Traore, who has a contract at Villa Park until 2024, has not made a club appearance since October 3.
