Aston Villa confirm arrival of Carlos Sanchez from Elche on four-year deal

Aston Villa have announced the signing of midfielder Carlos Sanchez from Elche.

Manager Paul Lambert has been open about his desire to sign the Colombian player, who is reported to have cost around £4m.

The Midlands outfit confirmed on Twitter that Sanchez has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

Sanchez joins the Premier League outfit having made 30 appearances for Elche following his move from Valenciennes last summer.
