Norwich City's Wes Hoolahan has handed in a transfer request as he seeks to leave the club, a report says.
Aston Villa have reportedly made a £1.5m bid for the midfielder, but that has been denied by Norwich manager Chris Hughton.
However, The Mirror reports that Hoolahan is eager to leave Carrow Road and join up with his former boss Paul Lambert at Villa Park.
He has been with the club since joining from Blackpool in 2008.
