Celtic close in on Aleksandar Tonev?

Scottish champions Celtic are reportedly in advanced discussions to sign Aston Villa winger Aleksandar Tonev.

It has been reported that the 24-year-old will initially sign on at Celtic Park on a season-long loan deal.

However, the Bhoys will retain the option to make the Bulgarian's move a permanent one for £2m at the end of the campaign, according to the Daily Record.

Tonev joined Villa from Lech Poznan in 2013, but went on to make just 20 appearances in all competitions last season.
