Christian Benteke set for talks on Aston Villa future?

Aston Villa will begin talks with striker Christian Benteke to secure his future at the club, according to a report.

The Belgium international has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal following his outstanding debut season in the Premier League.

However, the Villans are prepared to offer the 22-year-old a pay rise to his £20,000-a-week wages at Villa Park, according to The Mirror.

Benteke scored 23 goals in all competitions for Paul Lambert's side last season following his move from Genk.
