Aston Villa plan Ivica Olic swoop

Aston Villa are thought to be planning a summer swoop for Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic.

The Croatian, whose contract expires at the end of the season, would be able to move to the Premier League side for free.

Villa boss Alex McLeish has targeted the 32-year-old as an economical addition to his squad, according to the Daily Mail.

Olic moved to Munich on a free transfer from Hamburg in 2009.
