Derby County sign Andreas Weimann from Aston Villa

Derby County have completed the signing of Aston Villa forward Andreas Weimann for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old Austrian, who scored four goals for the West Midlands side last season, has signed a four-year deal at the iPro Stadium.

Derby manager Paul Clement told the Championship club's official website: "We are very pleased to welcome Andreas Weimann to Derby County and we very much look forward to working with him.

"He has a good amount of top-flight experience to his name and, at the age of 23, he still has a lot of potential. He is an exciting talent and he will be a positive addition to the squad."

Weimann joined Aston Villa in 2006 as a youngster from Austrian side Rapid Vienna.
