Team News: Aston Villa make three changes

Paul Lambert is forced into making three changes to the Aston Villa defence ahead of their Premier League match with Southampton.

Aston Villa have made three changes to their starting lineup for this this evening's Premier League match against Southampton.

Ron Vlaar, Philippe Senderos and Nathan Baker are all out injured, so Jores Okore, Ciaran Clark and Alan Hutton come in to a reshuffled defence.

Gabriel Agbonlahor keeps his place up front, with Christian Benteke still serving a three-match ban.

Meanwhile, Southampton have made just one change, as Shane Long comes into the side to replace the injured Steven Davis.

Aston Villa: Guzan, Hutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho, Sanchez, Westwood, Cleverley, Weimann, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor

Southampton: Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Alderweireld, Bertrand, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Long, Tadic, Mane, Pelle
