Aston Villa lineup vs. Fulham: Predicted XI for Premier League clash

Duran to start? Carlos recalled? Predicted Aston Villa lineup vs. Fulham

Aston Villa have received multiple injury boosts ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Long-term absentees Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings (both knee) have got minutes under their belts with the Under-21s over the last fortnight, and Unai Emery has since confirmed that both players will be part of the travelling squad this weekend for the first time this season.

Ezri Konsa and Amadou Onana (both hamstring) were unable to represent England and Belgium respectively on international duty, while Jaden Philogene picked up an unspecified problem while playing for England Under-21s, but Emery has revealed that all three players are 'feeling good' and are in contention to return, as are John McGinn and Jacob Ramsey. Backup goalkeeper Robin Olsen (head), meanwhile, remains sidelined.

It remains to be seen whether Emery will decide to make many changes to the Villa side that drew 0-0 with Manchester United prior to the international break.

Konsa could retain his place at centre-back alongside Pau Torres, but if he is not deemed fit to start then Diego Carlos could be recalled to the first XI, while Matty Cash and Lucas Digne may continue as full-backs.

Ross Barkley is set to battle with Onana for a spot in midfield alongside Youri Tielemans, while super-sub Jhon Duran could finally be handed his first league start of the season alongside Ollie Watkins, with Leon Bailey and Morgan Rogers operating out wide.

Aston Villa possible starting lineup: Martinez; Cash, Carlos, Torres, Digne; Bailey, Barkley, Tielemans, Rogers; Duran, Watkins
