Aston Villa: 'Darren Bent going nowhere'

Aston Villa will not sell striker Darren Bent to Liverpool.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to the Merseyside club following the news that Luis Suarez will be banned for eight matches after he was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.

However, Villa are not prepared to part company with their £24m forward, according to talkSPORT.

Bent has netted six times for the Midlands club this season.
