Charles N'Zogbia: 'It's good to be back'

Charles N'Zogbia says that he is "really happy" to be playing for Aston Villa again after recovering from an Achilles injury.

Aston Villa midfielder Charles N'Zogbia has admitted that he is "really happy" to be playing again following a lengthy spell out due to injury.

The Frenchman missed the whole of last season after being ruled out for 14 months with a ruptured Achilles.

"I feel really happy to be on the pitch again and to play again for Villa," he told the club's official website.

"They are great feelings for me after being injured for a long time. I was frustrated to not be playing football but I had to keep myself happy and keep in mind that one day I would be happy again and back playing."

N'Zogbia has featured in both of Villa's Premier League games so far this season.
