Charles N'Zogbia eyes Aston Villa success in 2012-13

Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia is confident that he will prove himself at Villa Park this season.

The 26-year-old Frenchman had a disappointing time at Villa Park in 2011-12 following his £9.5m move from Wigan Athletic last summer.

"I've now been playing over here [in England] for eight years, so I know what to do," N'Zogbia told Villa's official website.

"I know what I'm capable of and my focus is always to win games. Joining Villa was a good move for me. It was a difficult first season but I know I can work through that.

"I know the mistakes I made and I'm working on them. I know the other players much better now and that helps a lot."

N'Zogbia played for Newcastle United from 2004 to 2009 before joining Wigan.
